The perfect pony ride.

With equine friends of all sizes, we can provide an unforgettable pony ride for the little ones and a guided ride on one of our Gentle Giants for the bigger kids (and the young at heart). Our expert staff are experienced and trained handlers of these magnificent animals and will provide a safe, memorable, and fun-filled ride.

We provide the pony (or horse) as well as a sanitized helmet and boots, however socks are mandatory for anyone participating.

For those who just can't get enough, we can also provide additional rides for a small fee.

Goats and sheep at feeding time
Feeding frenzy

Feeding time is fun time.

The Gentle Giant Acres farm is home to a variety of animals, including pigs, cows, goats, chickens, and rabbits. We have a lot of hungry mouths to feed, and every day at 12:05pm it's lunchtime for our animal friends. If you'd like to join in on the feeding frenzy, you can purchase a feed token to feed the animals yourself. It's a great opportunity to get up close and personal with our four-legged friends.

Available for $5 at the farm store, feed tokens will bring you right into the middle of the action. No token, no problem, everyone can enjoy the frenzy of hungry herbivores as they chow down on their special diets.

Did you know that each animal has specific dietary needs? Our experts make sure every one of our furry or feathered friends gets the right balance in their diet. We also help reduce food waste by using excess produce from grocery suppliers, keeping waste out of landfills and our critters fed.

Cuddling a guinea pig in the Refuge
Snuggles galore

Get your cuddle on!

After our big friends get fed, it's time to feed the little ones.

Watch the guinea pigs squeal with excitement and the rabbits jump for joy as they get their lunchtime delicacies. There may even be a baby goat or two.

After feeding comes playtime. Snuggle with some bunnies, get to know a few guinea pigs, or have fun with the ferrets. You'll have time to spend with our little creatures while learning about their personalities. Jojo the Cockatoo may even say hi and do something he loves, dancing.
